Well, I was denied entry into The University of Wisconsin because I didn't have enough transferable credits. I only had 15 and they need 30 something.
BUT, I'm still able to get in as a special student and take up to 11 credits. I only have interest in taking one class, though. That class is Beginners Japanese 102.
They didn't have Japanese 101 available this semester, so I had to take a placement test to see if I could get into 102.
So on Wednesday (I think), I took that crazy 200 question test. And oh my god it was like reading a Japanese book. I had no idea what most of it said. I was able to read some of it. So I guessed on most of it and ended up with a 63/200. Not bad. Woo. But that test was geared for all of the Japanese classes in general and I placed into 102. Just the class I wanted.
So I start that TOMORROW already. Woo, time flies. Hope there's some cute girls in class.
I've been really considering minoring in Japanese. Just because I can.
I cannot WAIT to go back to Japan this summer. I've met a couple new people from Japan online. One is a very nice lady. She's 31 I believe and we talk using the MSN voice chat. And we talk about music and economics and politics and culture and all that fun stuff. She's really nice. And she has an almost 18 year old daughter who likes to act.
Aanywho. I don't really like my new job selling knives. I just don't feel very comfortable going into people's houses and trying to sell them things. So I'm thinking of getting another temporary factory job until I can move away. They have solid hours and benefits.
My other job involves selling Kirby Vacuums. Let me tell you, they suck really really good. But I decided not to sell them, I decided to be on the telemarketing team and setting up appointments for everyone. I'd work about 16 hours a week for $100. PLUS for every appointment I set up and the person buys a Kirby, I get $50 for that sale. Not too bad, but I still wanna go back to temporary factory work.
Heather came up this weekend and we watched movies. Cause movies rule.
After she left, I went out to see Cloverfield. I must say it was a pretty kick butt movie. It's made to look like you're seeing it from the main characters point of view. They filmed it using handicams. It was really well put together and the special effects were fantastic.
And my favorite line out of the movie, "I don't think I could comprehend how scary it'd be if a flaming homeless guy came out of the darkness."
Ahhah, awesome.
I got a new bedset. It's so nice and comfy and eternally awesome.

Besides that, it's COLD. It's like -4 degrees. And the Packers lost. OHNOES.
Okay, I'm going to bed. Goodnight.

You know what's really scarey?? I have that exact same bed-in-a-bag!! Only mine has a litte bit of cat fur at the foot. It sure is comfy but don't wash the skirt. Luv your mommy
I'm glad you are not going to sell knives and vacuum cleaners. You need to save all your brain cells for school! That movie, Cloverfield, would give me motion sickness. I watched Blair Witch Project and that made me sick too. I like your new bed. It does look very warm and comfy. It's cold here too. I had to wear two hats, two jackets and mittens when I walked the puppy the other day. Of course, the jackets are not winter jackets. That's why I had to wear two. But we have had some hard frosts at night. Big boo hoo. Love you! Auntie Debbie
