Update Tiem!

Okay okay, I'm updating. Chill out!

Wow, where to start. Hmm, probably the beginning.

I've been Assistant Manager at the AmericInn for a few months now and I've gotta say it's working pretty good. I've been dealing with all sorts of people. Even the bitchy ones. Starting to build my comeback speeds and quick thinking on my feet. Awesome!
Heck, just last weekend I kicked a big group out of the pool area because they had food in there. No food is aloud because it ALWAYS gets on the floor. And sure as they left, there was some bits of food on the floor and the ants were starting to come to feast. Ugh. So they went into the lobby to eat and I had to tell them to shut up a couple times. They were drunk. And loud. And quite inappropriate. There was a guest who had complained that a couple of them were making sexual remarks towards her.
And there was another guy with that group who decided to start yelling in the hallway with his pants down. Eeeewww. He had to be in his 40s.

The kids were perfectly well behaved. Didn't have to scold any of them once. It's ALWAYS the parents who need baby sitting.

Okay, that's my rant. :P

In other news, Arizona was fantastic! It was sunny, warm, exciting, fun, and sunny. Grandma and Grandpa were great hosts. Took lots of pictures with my cellphone. My cellphone has an 8.1 Megapixel camera. It works great and is pretty compact.

I brought along what is now one of my favorite books called Ender's Game. It had me completely hooked. I read it almost nonstop. While I was in bed, in the van, waiting for food at a restaurant, any chance I got. It was excellent.
It takes place a number of years in the future. The main character, Ender Wiggin, is chosen in lieu of his much stronger older brother to join a battle school to train for an inevitable war against The Buggers. The Buggers had attacked Earth twice before, almost completely destroying it.
While in Battle School, Ender quickly learns that he's on his own and must defend himself and fend for himself because the administrators intend to teach him to think on his own. He's a fast learner and eventually leads and trains his own unbeatable platoon. None of the other captains can defeat him in the combat training.
It's a fast read with a very nicely done twist ending.

Okay, enough of that, back to Arizona.
I flew out of the Chippewa Valley Airport. That is one tiny airport. Took a puddle jumper to the Minneapolis airport. It only took about 20 minutes. About 100 miles. Pretty fast.
Anyway, waited an hour there then got on my plane to Tucson where I was greeted by Grandma and Auntie Debbie. Grandpa was circling around with the van. :P

So on the way to Debbie's, I noticed that everything was BROWN. The only green I saw was weeds and cacti. Oh well, I didn't complain. It was warm!

After stopping at Debbie's we went to Grandma and Grandpa's and I got settled into the guest bedroom. I don't know WHY I did that, seeing as how I only got it for ONE NIGHT! Mom came the next day and confiscated the bedroom from me and banished me to the living room floor on a blow up mattress. Oh well. It wasn't too bad. Although it got surprisingly cold during the night.
One time during the night there was a police car siren blaring down Speedway and it made all the Coyote's in the field behind the park start howling. It sounded pretty creepy, yet sweet at the same time.

Anyway, throughout the week we went to various parks and and mountain ranges and restaurants.

I think I'll let the pictures do the talking. I'm copying them all from my Photobucket account. There's just too many to go through individually and put in a decent order. But they're pretty close.

They're called "Waterfowls", not ducks! Lol!

Couple of kids on a giant hill of sand.

I should think of a name for this guy. How about Flashlight. Yeah. We'll call the turtle Flashlight.
And it has nothing to do with the flashlight sitting next to me.

A seemingly endless field of military aircraft. It was pretty sweet.

Cool face.

$5 foot longs are back! Boy, that's a big footlong!

On top of A Mountain

On top of another mountain. In a later picture, try to spot where I am!

RV Sunset.

Cacti and mountains and trees.

Boy, I'd hate to be the guy posing for that drawing.

Up in Sabino Canyon.

IT'S BILLY! HEY EVERYBODY LOOK! BILLY!!!!! :D:D:D:D

More Sabino Canyon

Grandma and Grandpa fording the river. Their oxen died of Dysentery

I wanted to be in the Rodeo, but mom said no. She's so MEAN!

THEY'RE FUZZY! LIKE A TEDDY BEAR! :D
Right Ryan?

Look! It's a jack rabbit! Thing was HUGE!

More Cacti.

A panorama shot while on top of a large rock.

The Scorpion. I'll go into details a bit later. ;)

This is a hotel. A fricken AWESOME hotel. Expensive, though. I think a standard room
would set you back about $300 a night! At least!

More Driving.

Okay, here are Grandpa's pictures that he took.

A hot spring. Wasn't that warm, though. :P But the Waterfowls liked it!

It's that small town where they film movies that I can't think of the name of! Yeah!

Can you find me in these pictures?

I'm pretending to be a waterfowl. Quack!

Check out this young lady I posed with. :)

I didn't fall in. But I did see bee's. I ran away soon after.

It's A Mountain!!!!

So those are all the pictures I have. Now I suppose you're wondering about that alcoholic beverage up there.
So, yeah, Shannon took me out that night. We went to a nice Japanese/Sushi restaurant where they had a Mexican guy working there. My head almost asploded! Although that could've been from the Wasabi. Boy that was hot!
After getting a full meal in me, she took me to the local favorite bar, 'Kontiki', where she ordered The Scorpion. After a quick Google search, this is what is in it:
  • juice of half a lime
  • 1 1/2 oz orange juice
  • 1/4 oz triple sec
  • 3/4 oz brandy
  • 3/4 oz light rum
  • 1 oz dark rum
It wasn't terrible, really. She ordered the Scorpion for Two. It came in a huge glass with two straws. I think I drank most of it. I was pretty buzzed by the end of it.
Afterwards we went back to her house (well, I sort of stumbled), and watched Night at the Museum as I drank a 40oz of Smirnoff Watermelon. That was fun.
Luckily I drank a lot of water throughout the night, because I didn't have a hangover in the morning. I'm surprised I made up the ladder to Erics bed, though. Wow.

Aaaanyway, that's the end of that.

The next day we went to the swap meet. I really didn't find anything of interest. At all. Nothing. Oh well.

I think I covered just about everything in the trip.
Oh! While I was there I had gotten an email from a local photographer who wanted to do a photoshoot with me. Free of charge. Of course I agreed.

So a couple days after I got home, I did the unthinkable. Again. Got a chest wax! (And it started growing back less than a week later. Ugh, my hair grows too fast).
And the next day after the wax I had the photoshoot. Check em out:

So that's that.

Right now at work my Manager is in Fort Meyers helping with the opening of a new AmericInn Motel and left ME in charge. Mister Assistant Manager. Hehehe. Things are going well. All the numbers are adding up. Sweet.

I just got word from mom that I'm being invited to Reno on the 25th of April to assist with the conference going on down there. All expense paid. ;) (thanks mum).
And it is a NICE hotel/casino. Hehehehehehe.

Okay, well that's about all the news I've got.
Yes, I'm still working on that video. I'm just really lazy and have been taking my sweet sweet time on it. And running into several several bumps along the way. It's much much much more complicated than the Bohemian Rhapsody video.

Goodnight!

A month and a half!

Wow, so it's been about a month and a half since my last post. What have I been doing, you ask? Being just gosh darn lazy. That's why I haven't really updated this.

So, I'll fill you in on as much as I can remember between my last post and now.

Work
Sleep
Work
Sleep
Work

That's pretty much it. But okay, I'll try to go into more detail.

Christmas was pretty sweet. Got lots of goodies:
$40 in Borders gift cards.
A Rubiks cube
An electric keyboard
A little remote control helecopter to annoy people with. (as soon as I can figure out how to fly it properly)
Mom got me a bamboo plant. It's still alive!
I got a Nintendo DS, too.
And some books.
And a skillet for cooking stuff on.

So that's Christmas.

I worked the night shift on New Years. That was fun. At midnight, I chugged a can of Red Bull. Didn't feel too good after that. Drank it a little fast. Ugh.
I think I got about 13 text messages all saying "Happy New Year"
I didn't reply to them, but if I did, I would've said, "No ****, Sherlock!"
Hehe, I'm such a meanie.

Lets see, what other events have been happening...

I'm planning on flying out to see Grandma and Grandpa and Debbie and Steve and Shannon and Dudelett in Tuscon for my 21st birthday. Shall be a sweet time. I'm flying out on the 22nd and coming back the 3rd.

I just got done with a CRAZY weekend at work. We were booked full! Had a couple hockey teams staying. Ugh, those kids suck.
Saturday was when all the fun was.
I had to turn a guy away (who had a reservation) because we overbooked and didn't have a room for him. (Stupid girl on 1st shift sold the 'Emergency Only' room when it wasn't an emergency.) Ugh. So he got a gift certificate for a free night in a Whirlpool Suite for that.
Lets see, also on Saturday, the lifeguard and I had both gone to a room to bring them whatever it is they wanted and we both smelled cigarette smoke as soon as they opened the door. So I told the boss and she came to the hotel and pounded on their door and yelled at them and made them pay a $100 Damage fee. Even had to call the cops cause they refused and all that.
Meanwhile, while all this is happening, there's some 8-10 year olds upstairs pounding on this poor womans door making her dog bark while she's trying to sleep. She had come down to tell me about it and I told her I'd keep an eye on them. So I told the kids to quit horsing around and one their mothers told me their kids are oh so perfect and they're not doing anything and that woman just has a stick up her ass.

So, I'm in the office watching the security cameras and WATCH the kids bang on the door and run. So I bolt down there and they're standing by their parents while the parents are gathered outside smoking. I yelled at the kids telling them to stay away from that door and the mother again said "the kids aren't doing anything". I interrupted her and told her I watched the kids doing it on the camera. So she shut her mouth then.

So later on I saw the kids apologizing to the woman, so that's good.

That's pretty much all the excitement I've been having.
Been working out a lot, trying to get that model figure.
Kicking butt in JuJitsu. I think I'll be able to try out for my orange belt in March sometime.

The past two weeks, I've put in about 93 hours of work. (Even with taking last weekend off to visit mom, I ended up with more hours than what I was scheduled for).

Anywho, I just got home from 3rd shift at work. I was super busy because of all the laundry that was still left from the full house.

So, I'm going to bed. Good night!
